A Busy week with Bible Studies and visits

Hello our dear praying friends!

This week was quite busy for us.

Alexey had to drive to Thinket Portage 3 times this week. We had some house visits and were able to have several Bible Studies. We went though 1 Thessalonians . This book is one of the earliest written by Apostles. It has a good combination all important Christian truth collected in one place. We have 2 families now in this community and one couple form the Locals who meet on a regular basis. Brothers also set up a radio station to transmit Sunday Services in the community.

On Sunday we were in Thiket again but our son Timothy went with the group to Pikwitonei. Not many people came in Pik to Sunday Service but praise the lord for all who did.

Russian Bible study keeps going. We finished Matthew 4. It is worthwhile pointing that the King and Messiah Lord Jesus started proclaiming His kingdom by saying: "Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand". Neither natural birth, nor being part of the Spiritual group of people .. even close physical proximity to Lord Jesus doesn't bring you to the Kingdom oh Heaven. Only individual repentance in own sins and trust in the Messiah moves the King of the Kingdom of Heaven to accept a person in.

We had a couple in our house: Phyllis and Louis. They are Thicket Locals. But for many years they live in Thompson but have a strong connection to Thiket.. They attend our church regularly. When Phyllis and Louis were at our place they said many interesting things. Among them: (1) Locals in Thiket are very happy that two families moved into the community. People in Thiket do see our brothers and sisters as a blessing to the community (2) As you already know there are so many funerals. Even at this moment there are 2 waiting. But Phyllis and Louis said locals are very thankful that brothers can help with Christian funerals as in the past they have to pay quite a lot just for Priests to come to do the funerals not counting other funeral costs..

Please pray for Thiket Portage, for Pikwitonei, Split Lake and Thompson

Please pray for families who moved to Thiket: family Isaak and family Unrau. Specifically pray that both Edgar Isaak and Kevin Unrau will have jobs .. they have already applied and searching for opportunities in and around Thiket.
Pray form Norman and Arleen, local couple.

Please pray for us

Louis
