It is a special time. God the Father gave gift to all people - His Son , our Saviuor, Lord Jesus Christ! Let's us rejoice in Him.
Brothers from churches from down South brought boxes with gifts for children living in the communities. Our Children from our school visited all our families with Christmas carolls. We had our Christmas program/service earlier as so many of us will be going down South to spend time with family and friends.
Today our children flew to Pickwitenei to hand out presents.
God gave to us a special gift this Season: He miraculously saved lives of two of our brothers and eventually many more.. last weekend two brothers were travelling on a vehicle on the ice over the lake. Ice broke. Vehicle sank down. Brothers jumped through the window last second. One of the brothers is an old man and he can't walk normally. So younger brother gave his own clothes and shoes to that older brother. He carried older brother for about 6 km.. Then Edgar, the younger brother, ran by foot to the community, hopped on snowmobile came back to pick up Norman, the elder brother.

It was -25. Edgar suffered serious frostbites in some places. He is recovering now.
