Dear friends. Today we remembered our mothers and wives, prayed for them, had fellowship.
How wonderful our wives and mothers are! How much they teach us: they teach patience, teach constancy in work, teach us care. Wives and mothers are waiting for us, praying for us ... and despite our many shortcomings, they love us! While we are chasing the ghosts of earthly life, they silently pray. And when these ghosts deceive us, our wives and mothers take us back wounded and betrayed, wash our feet and heads.
God! Bless our dear mothers! God bless our dear wives! Give them strength, joy, and help along the way!
Today we heard about Enoch. Enoch walked with God. (Gen. 5.24). Nobody appreciated Enoch.. nobody noticed his God-fearing walk.. nobody but God. And God highly appreciated quite godly life of God's man - God took Enoch to Himself. Enoch, among other things, is the image of our wives and mothers .. how often we do not notice them .. But God notices you and appreciates you, our dear ones!
What a wonderful wives and mothers we have! What a pity that only once a year we find time to think about them...
