Tansi. Jesus Kisahkihin.

"Tansi. Jesus Kisahkihin."

Today we had a privilege to visit a small group of believers in Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids is a small town halfway between Thompson and Winnipeg. It is also a home land for one of the Cree Nation Communities. "Tansi. Jesus Kisahkihin" in Cree means "Hello. Jesus loves you".

It was a very blessed time together. We heard young brothers reading a wonderful and so uplifting Psalm 23: "The Lord is my Shepherd". Also we heard a message where it was explained reading from Psalm 22 that it took a lot for the Son of God to become that Good Shepherd. We had some young people in attendance. All listened quite well. Some participated, asked questioned and offered songs.
In addition to many many songs we sang all together, sister Stella sang a song in Cree and we sang one song in Ukrainian just to bring some joy to the heart of a brother from Grand Rapids who has Ukrainian roots. We had some time for food and fellowship.
May Lord Bless Grand Rapids that this small group would grow and the testimony of that local church will shine wide and far.
All believers invited us to come again!

This community is also in a grip of evil forces, drug and alcohol overdoses and absence of hope. All that leads to so many suicides.

Please pray for Grand Rapids!
