He sees us

Hello dear praying friends. It has been nothing from us for a bit.. we are safe and sound by Lord's grace! Today is the first Summer day according to calendar - 1st of June. And as you know, there is nothing better for the beginning of Summer as snow. We got some today :) We continue participating in Lord's work here with our feeble strength. We visited Grand Rapids last Sunday. Had a service at Johnny's place with Johnny himself and some of his children. We continued thinking about Lord's Prayer .. and heard some thoughts about Father in Heaven. The fact that Our Father God is in Heaven teaches us that He sees us: He sees struggling, forsaken women ( Gen 16.6-13), He sees struggling and weary men (Judges 15.14-19), He sees all of us ( Ps 33.14-15). He does not only see us from a far but becomes part of us acting in our lives. Praise the Lord! Please continue praying for Northern Communities and for us!

Do not wait for dreams.. This will is clearly shown already (b) God reveals His INDIVIDUAL will towards one's life (c) God reveals His SPECIAL will towards one's life In order to understand God's special will for your life, you have to start with understanding and assessing His General will towards your life: have you repented? have you trusted the Lord? have you been baptized? do you serve the Lord in any capacity? God allows bad thing to happen (Gen 37:23-28) This is part of God's plan. God was with Joseph, God is with you (Gen 39:2-3, 21, 23) So, God does not only allow bad thing to happen, He is there with you.. if you are one of His own God is close to them

Commitment ... and Unexpected visits

Winter has arrived to our backyard. Temperature is steady around -15C .. -25C. Children are playing in the snow. Praise the Lord, when the temperature started to plummet , we finally were allowed to start using our wood stove. It is warm and cozy now in our trailer house. We all are waiting for the lake to freeze, when we will have opportunities to go to communities again more frequently. Lord blessed us this weekend in a special way. First of all we had a group of young people from down south coming to visit us. On Saturday, we had something like mini-conference and a wood cutting exercise. Two of brothers from Thompson were asked to share some thoughts on the subject of commitment. Brother Kevin spoke on being committed to right Doctrines. I shared thoughts on what commitment does consist of and what it produces in our life having Good Shepherd (Ps 23) as an example. In case you are interested, notes are below. Youth stayed for the Sunday Service and prepared quite a program for us.

We visited Steinbach-Winkler area

Dear praying friends. We visited Steinbach-Winkler on a weekend of Feb 20th. Brothers invited us to be part of their service in a Slavic church there. We all were thinking together about Lord's Coming and what it takes to be ready to meet the Lord. Our Scriptures reading was in 1 Thessalonians.

A Busy week with Bible Studies and visits

Hello our dear praying friends! This week was quite busy for us. Alexey had to drive to Thinket Portage 3 times this week. We had some house visits and were able to have several Bible Studies. We went though 1 Thessalonians . This book is one of the earliest written by Apostles. It has a good combination all important Christian truth collected in one place. We have 2 families now in this community and one couple form the Locals who meet on a regular basis. Brothers also set up a radio station to transmit Sunday Services in the community. On Sunday we were in Thiket again but our son Timothy went with the group to Pikwitonei. Not many people came in Pik to Sunday Service but praise the lord for all who did. Russian Bible study keeps going. We finished Matthew 4. It is worthwhile pointing that the King and Messiah Lord Jesus started proclaiming His kingdom by saying: "Repent!
